Sandtastik® PLASTERMIX Plaster of Paris Casting Material is great for general purpose arts and crafts, casting with plastic molds or in sand.
HARDENING / DRYING TIMES
Recommended hardening, setting or drying times for Sandtastik® PLASTERMIX Plaster of Paris Casting Material varies by thickness of your poured casting and water temperature (cold = longer, warm = shorter). As a general guideline, please follow these time allowances:
- For smaller moldings, less than 1” thick, allow 20 - 30 minutes.
- For larger moldings, more than 1” thick, allow 45 – 60 minutes
